(formerly Wachusett Manor) is a 96-bed nursing home located in Gardner, Massachusetts. We are conveniently located only a five minute drive from Heywood Hospital. We have been serving the Gardner, Fitchburg, and Leominster areas for over 60 years.
Wachusett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
offers short-term rehabilitation, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We also offer long-term care, respite care, and end-of-life services. We are located on top of Hospital Hill and have beautiful scenic views. We are a family-friendly facility and we provide excellent personalized care. We have a well-manicured large lawn and a gorgeous courtyard area for our residents to explore.

Meet Diane, one of our long-term care residents and a former gardenerโor, as she proudly calls herself, a โlandscape architect!โ ๐ธ๐ฑ When Diane expressed how much she wanted to get outside, our Rehabilitation Team found a meaningful way to incorporate her love of gardening and the outdoors into her therapy sessions.
๐ก Did you know Medicare Part B may cover medically necessary Physical and Occupational Therapy for nursing home residents? These services can help eligible residents improve or maintain function, strength, mobility, and independence when Medicare requirements are met.
Through her Medicare Part B therapy benefit, Diane has been working toward maintaining and increasing her strength and functional independence in the place she calls home. ๐ช๐ก
